3rd Quarter Submission Feedback The main thing my teacher and peers told me to edit is my second article page. Instead of using the ratings and review page, they suggested that I use all of the pictures to make a collage. I chose not to do this because it would cost more money to print a page full of color images. I also thought that keeping the ratings and reviews would benefit the customers more. 

Creative Critical Reflection Draft #4 How did you integrate technologies (software, hardware, and online) in this project? For this project I used Adobe Indesign, VSCO, Microsoft word, and my IPhone. I used Adobe Indesign when creating my magazine cover and table of contents. This application allowed me to use pictures I took on my IPhone and lay text over them to create magazine pages. I used Microsoft word when creating the actual  articles . This made it easy to integrate the text and pictures into a format that best suited the article. I also used the VSCO application to edit photos and adjust the brightness, saturation, and highlight in each photo.

Creative Critical Reflection Draft #3 How did your production  skills develop throughout this project? In the beginning, I knew I was more equipped to make a magazine with my skill sets. I have always been fairly good at taking pictures and editing them, along with designing. When I started to develop a plan, it was easy for me to organize what I wanted to do with the magazine, and where I wanted to go. The hardest parts were actually designing the pages. I thought that it would be much easier than it was. Starting with a blank page and trying to fill all the white space, without making it look cluttered, was very difficult. Another challenge I ran into was making the pages unique, but also compliment each other. Overall, my skills with Adobe Indesign increased dramatically. Before this project, I had no idea how to work the application, but now i have created most of my pages using it. I have also learned new ways to edit pictures using apps such as VSCO. 3rd Quarter Submission After talking with my peers about ways I could improve my article, I made multiple changes. The first changes I made were to the cover page. On the cover page, I decided to move the article names to the bottom and change the font. These changes allowed the article title to be easier to read. On the next page, the table of contents, I added an additional article. This fills the space on the page and also makes it look more complete. On the first article page, I didn't make any changes. I thought that the page looked good the way it was. As I move along I may make some changes. On the second article page, I changed the background to white. This allows my magazine to save money when it is printed. I also created a new layout for the articles and pictures. This way it looks better and it easier to read. Below are pictures of all the pages after the changes were made.

Creative Critical Reflection Draft #2 How does your product engage with audiences? My product engages with audiences because it gives them recipes to follow and places to go. It also will have a twitter account where you can post pictures of the recipes and of your food at the restaurants. The magazine could also have pages where customers and readers can post their personal experiences at each place mentioned in the magazine. How would it be distributed as a real media text? Just like Edible Sarasota , my magazine will be printed locally and then distributed to local restaurants and markets. Then it will be passed out and distributed to the people there.
