 BREAKFAST AT STATION 400 For my visit/photo shoot at Station 400 in Downtown Sarasota, I decided to go during breakfast with a close friend. Station 400 is open daily from 7:30am-2:30pm. Everyday Station 400 serves breakfast and lunch at their three local sarasota locations. Station 400 is family owned and operated and allows the customers to enjoy a great meet from friendly faces. The cover of a magazine is very important. It should attract readers and make them want to pick up your magazine. Because the cover of a magazine is so important, I decided to take a food at several food magazines and see which ones I liked best. Overall, the magazine covers with crisp and unique pictures attracted my attention the most. The Washingtonian was one of my favorite magazines to look at because of their unique fonts and pictures. When using pictures of food for a magazine cover, it is important to make sure the food looks appetizing, and worthy of being on the cover of a magazine. This seems like common knowledge but when researching food magazine covers I came across many that looked unappealing and unappetizing. Below I have 7 examples of some of my favorite covers followed by one of the covers I did not like. These pictures will help me when planning my own cover. With my skill sets, I think that I should make a magazine. My photography and design skills put me in the best position to make a magazine. In my magazine, I will discuss local restaurants in my area. While my partner Sawyer Lang is focusing on barbecue restaurants, I will be focusing on brunch restaurants. I will be going to 3 local breakfast/lunch restaurants and eating a variety of breakfast foods, as well as lunch. My magazine will include full reviews on each restaurant including information about each dish, cost, my experience with the staff and the overall atmosphere of each restaurant. Along with the information, each place will be rated on a scale from 1-5 stars. The restaurants are located in Tampa, Lakewood Ranch, and Downtown Sarasota.

Although I enjoy watching movies and films, creating one on my own, or with a group, would really be a challenge. I have little experience I editing film and sound. It would be hard for me to come up with a decent idea that I would be able to execute. Although I like being uncharge and would be a good director, creating a film for my project would be very difficult. With my skill sets, I could create a great magazine, but not a great film.

Throughout my childhood, I have always been interested in magazines. My parents always had them laying around the house for me and my younger brother to look at. Along with magazines, I enjoy photography. Taking photos, as well as editing, has always been something I am interested in. Because of this, I believe that making a magazine would be a good fit for me and my skill sets. Making a magazine would be more enjoyable for me because, I would be able to plan what goes on every page. Formatting the material, as well as editing the pictures for the magazine, is something I would really enjoy and look forward to doing.
